It’s been a decade in the pouring rain,
she’s walking a memory-lane alone.
When neighbors gossiped a thousand yarn,
she smiled a moon to hide the pain
and drank ’em all like a shot of red wine
like the pearls on her cheeks fade with rain.
Because a bond stronger than the gravity,
and a tale fiercer than of the great Juliet,
and a feeling deeper than an ocean blue,
she knows, a love truer than the eternity.
Beside a walkway in a busy metropolitan,
it’s been a decade in the pouring rain,
she’s standing with an umbrella, alone
to secure the warmth of love for her beloved
sleeping silently there, in the graveyard.
